FSVBC has been in existence since the fall of 2017. We started with just 2 teams, for the 2018 season we added an additional 2 teams, and now look to further our growth as a program by adding another 2 teams to our mix at various age groups ranging from ages 10-18.
Our training facility is Lake Rim Cumberland Parks and Recreation Center, which allows us to be easily accessed for members who enjoy the game of volleyball.
OUR GOAL is to reach out to younger players and introduce them to competitive volleyball played around the region.
OUR MISSION is to provide the best support network for all things volleyball and incorporate the academic achievements for our members while striving to be the best at our sport.
We feature an aggressive training program designed to motivate, educate, discipline, and care for your student-athlete.
Starlings Volleyball, USA began with a single, inner-city volleyball team of 11 girls in 1996. Founder Byron Shewman, a Men's National Team Champion and Olympian Kim Oden, sought to establish a volleyball/academic program that would serve girls from lower socioeconomic groups. Far more than a youth program, Starlings is a home-base for struggling girls to find empowerment, direction, and love within a setting of quality volleyball training and competition. Today, Starlings is the nation's largest junior volleyball club with teams in more than 50 cities and Native American reservations throughout the U.S. Approximately 3,000 girls currently participate in the Starlings program annually.
